Rent a Truck to Help Move Your Stuff

Did you know that the Gran Park Self Storage offers you a free* truck when you’re moving into one of our clean, safe and secure storage units?
That's right. Just ask your storage consultant to arrange it for you and have a stress free moving experience on us!
Are there different rental rates for different days of the week?
Yes. Typically rates are less expensive during the middle of the week when demand is lowest. Rates tend to go up on weekends. If you're able, try scheduling your move for a weekday to save money.
Is there a penalty for keeping the truck longer than I reserved it?
Yes, additional rental charges apply.
Is there an after-hours procedure for returning the truck?
Yes, be sure to ask one of our rental consultants at the Self Storage Depot about dropping off your rental truck after hours.
Is there a deposit required to rent a truck?
No. All you need is a valid credit card.
Do I have to return the truck when I'm done with it?
Yes. We don't have a pickup service for trucks.
Am I responsible for any speeding or traffic tickets?
The driver of the truck is responsible for the vehicle's safe operation and all speeding and traffic violations.
Who do I call if I have any mechanical problems with the truck?
We feel so confident that you won’t have any problems that each truck has free 24-hour roadside assistance.
Does the truck come with a hand truck or furniture pads?
No, but we can rent hand trucks and furniture pads for an additional charge. Our trucks do have convenient ramps for loading and unloading.
What kind of license do I need to rent a truck? How old do I have to be?
To rent a U-Haul truck, you need a valid driver's license and must be at least 18 years of age.

Like all U-Haul equipment, our moving vans are designed from the ground up to move families – not freight. Only U-Haul trucks are expressly designed, engineered and manufactured for moving household goods. You can depend on our comfortable vans to save wear and tear on your family – the most important parts of any do-it-yourself move. Moving one way? Then your best selection to handle your upcoming move is the 26-foot Super Mover or 24-foot Household Mover. These vans can easily, safely and smoothly handle up to seven rooms of household goods. There's more than enough capacity to carry those "little extras" you might have to leave behind now... and pay to replace later. Also, our exclusive Mom's Attic -- the extra storage space we provide directly above the cab -- is the perfect place to transport your most delicate possessions. Even if you're moving In-Town, larger is better. A U-Haul van's generous amount of floor space lets you "stack lower" and spread things out. So even if you don't need every inch of space, you'll find that all this extra room takes the real work out of loading and unloading. And the extra space means fewer trips, too.
